Sparkling Apple Cider & Thyme Martini

Crisp, refreshing, bubbly Fall flavors in a glass. Need I say more? The name really says it all! All the delicious Fall Cider flavor with the bright bubbly addition of sparkling wine or Prosecco and you’ve got the perfect Fall cocktail for a brunch or cheese board. Dip the rim in a little caramel sauce and then in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar for an extra delicious twist! Makes: 6 Servings
Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 Bottle of Prosecco or Champagne
  • 1 Jug of Apple Cider
  • Splash of apple or regular brandy or ginger liqueur, optional
  • 1/3 Cup Caramel Sauce, optional
  • 1/3 cinnamon sugar mixture, optional
  • Fresh apple slices for garnish optional

Directions:

Pour caramel and cinnamon sugar mixture on separate small plates. Dip the rim of each champagne flute into the caramel mixture, and then in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Pour apple cider into the glasses filling about halfway or slightly less than half way. Add in a spash of the brandy or liqueur, if using, and top the rest of the way with prosecco or champagne. Garnish with apple slices, if desired, and serve!
